Hello, i am getting not clickable file tabs. In such situation helps using Alt+ or restarting IDE.

The no text in editor result was run on Netrunner, with both Gnome and KDE desktop varieties. I gave it a try on Linux Mint with Cinnamon desktop and the problem is gone.

There are plenty of issues with gtk and that editor unfortunately..can’t immediately help there :/

I installed monodevelop.x86.Master.tar.xz. I loaded a solution
and there is no text in the editor. There is a tab with the file
title. This worked ok in version 3.0.3.2. Everything else looks
great so far.`

Hello, This is a kind of feature request:

It would be nice if “private:” “public:” would be a folding source such as when we use the syntax “private{}” “public{}”.

Well, regarding the second issue, I checked the symbols defined in the binary file using nm and they do include that same symbol with the same mangling. So it might by another issue.
Either way, I realize that this is alpha state, and I appreciate your work till this stage. It’s great nonetheless. If you need help with testing anything, I’ll be glad to help.

Please reinstall and try again. At least the breakpoints should work.

These problems are known. Dunno how to solve the first one yet as it’s some dependency problem..the actual lib is there already but it somehow enforces some too-specific version of it..and that’s why it can’t do breakpoints. But here on my local build it works.

Hi
I am install this plugin, then I set a breakpoint in a simple “Hello world” programm and run it. Execution was stoped on breakpoint, but MonoDevelop UI not responded on this (debug buttons still in running state, no yellow arrow and etc).
In the Application output window printed message “Couldn’t inject exception handler breakpoint: No symbol “_D2rt4deh213__eh_finddataFPvZPS2rt4deh29FuncTable” in current context.”.
What could be the problem?

That breakpoint issue is known, unfortunately..it’s because it requires a too specific D_Parser version and can’t find it..dunno how to bypass this permanently. I only can update the gdb addin as soon as I upload a new mono-d version or so – I never thought this stuff would be this complicated :-i

Concerning the second problem, this is also likely to occur due to different ways of naming the rt.deh.__eh_finddata method..well, all the stuff is still in an alpha stage and obviously causes a lot of problems. Besides, I don’t so much time atm, so I guess I’ll let these things rest a little. I mean, works for me, but that’s not really an excuse for anything
