Time to announce an “official” statement concerning all these exceptions.
Please ensure you do have either a stable MonoDevelop 3.0.6 or an unstable/customly built MonoDevelop 3.1.0 installed on your machine. Older versions are not supported.
I’ve checked running Mono-D on Windows 1) having a stable 3.0.6 version, 2) having an “unstable” custom built 3.1.0 edition and 3) on Mint 13 having another custo 3.1.0 m build of MonoDevelop. Sorry that I can’t test it on all platforms before every release or even smaller change.
To give this message a final peak: I dislike the inconsistent version distribution of the MonoDevelop creators either. Especially the distribution on Linux which is currently driven EXCLUSIVELY by third-parties, such as keks9n or other users who provide free binary repos. Furthermore, handing out older versions on the official download site is definitely the opposite of any kind of usability.
